I have been having extreme pelvic pain and pressure for about 2 weeks now and doc said it's been the dilation and effacement. The best of luck to you. It's an exciting time. That's about where I was during a check with my first. He was born less than 24 hours later. Second little guy was more stubborn. Sat at 3-4 cm with contractions for 2.5 weeks. Then bumped to 4-5. Ended up needing induced.
