Rattling starts when you have ac on and will stop when you accelerate or turn ac off. Seems to get louder when you move from park to drive. AC still works fine. Think it maybe the ac clutch.The voltage at the compressor coil was 12 volts with a jumper at the relay, but the coil wouldn’t magnetize. The coil resistance was good and nearly identical (within 0.1ohms) to the new coil I had purchased. I was baffled. I decided to run a jumper wire directly from the battery to the compressor coil relay terminal.Once that is out there is a cover over the expansion valve that has about 10 screws holding it in. Remove that cover and then unbolt the expansion valve and line assembly coming from under the hood.
