No turbo to replace the HX30 is going to be a drop in with little changes. Your HX30 matched with a 60-62mm Compressor Borg warner S300 would prob work really nicely. Maybe the new 63/68 Borg Warner S300 would work well.

I started collecting parts for my upcoming CUMMINS -swap. -Anyone with information as to where to get a adaptor flex plate between engine flywheel and the torque converter of my 4L60e tranny. - as it shows in the attached pic , I do have a bolted on wave-ring on the flywheel of the cummins.The general idea is either engine will fit and has been done. The 6bt engine alone will cost less and 4bts are getting more scarce. A well tuned 4bt would be more like you'd put a 454 big block in compared to the 6.2. A 6bt would need very little tuning to get to the 200 HP or higher level. ….

The non turbo one is close to the same power that the jeep had to begin with.
