1990 500SL cold start valve injector question. Background: My car is extremely hard to start when it has been sitting overnight or after it is shut off for a few hours. When it does finally start, it bucks and runs terribly until it finally warms up. I cleaned the injectors and replaced the injector seals, but it didn't help.3. I have an 89 with a 22RE, and it seems to start hard sometimes after it's been warmed up. Cold, it starts right up. Is this something common? It turns over fine, but it just takes about 5-8 seconds to catch. I'm getting the fuel pump replaced today, but that's just a precaution. I don't know how old the pump is, and it has 200k on the truck.Shut the fuel pump off, and pulled the intake hose off between throttle body and AFM - fuel came running out of the throttle body and had to dump it out of the intake hose - probably 4 or 5 shot glasses full.
