Sep 16, 2022 · I experienced a problem this morning after a planned Xfinity maintenance outage. After the outage, I rebooted the Modem and my router pulled a new WAN IP address (DHCP), however, the IPv4 Gateway monitor in my router was showing 100% loss and I could not get out to the internet via IPv4. The IPv6 interface, however, seemed to be working fine. Using a VPN connection with Xfinity Internet is just one of the many benefits for Comcast customers. All xFi Complete customers can enable Advanced Security on the go through the Xfinity app and benefit from safe browsing and data protection (Xfinity VPN). For more information, see the Advanced Security on the go FAQs. After logging in, follow these steps to secure your Xfinity account and router. Change the default login information. Once you log into the router, click Gateway > Connection and select WiFi. When you see your WiFi network name, click Edit and scroll down to the box that says Change Password. Type your new password into the field and save it.
