Start to make at least a 45 deg turn and it should engage. Keep turning back and forth until it engages if a slight turn doesn't activate it. Simple as that. You will hear it click and definitely feel it because the rear will start to drag and the tires will start to scrub. Mine never really activates in a straight line.Remove the fill plug first, then the drain. Clean the magnet on the drain plug and reinstall with new gasket. The differentials are "fill to spill". Which means just keep putting in oil until it spills out the fill Port. Assuming your on level ground. Unscrew and remove it from the diff housing and blow into the threaded end. You should be able (with some slight effort) to blow air through it, but not be able to suck air in.

Stop the vehicle. Place the vehicle in 4LO. Press the rear diff lock button. Slowly drive forward (under 5mph) turning the steering wheel back and forth until you either hear the click of the rear diff or see the light stop blinking.
