Hello All, Pretty new guy here having issues with my February 1971 FJ40. Need to replace my brake booster. The one I was sent from Rockauto has a check valve welded in. The check valve is nowhere near the size of the hose that I have going to the current check valve. I called another place and they said theirs was 3/8” and already …Aug 29, 2016. #1. I am finally going to do this after 25 years of messing with drums, and single reservoir master cylinder. I sent the following email to SOR tech, and got a nebulous answer with no good advice. "I am running an early 69 FJ40, but with a 72 tub. The brake system is the 9mm one with the three bolt single reservoir master cylinder.
