I'm driving a 93 f150 with a 4.9 EFI I6 300 engine! I have a buddy at work who told me that he used to own an older one and said that he had put a turbo on his. Told me it drove like there was a rocket strapped to his *****! He was saying the turbo was only putting out about 6psi of boost but he was literally running a completely stock setup.After doing a bunch of research, Hutchison found out the bolt-holes on the 300 were only 0.050-inch or so from allowing an LS head to directly bolt on! A friend filled all the factory holes and ...Mainly speed. I am thinking of a 351 stroker or a 460 but i wanted to look at what was available for the 300 6. I assume when you say 351 you are talking Windsor, witch is a nice engine but the stock heads will really limit you on total performance. The 429/460 stock heads have good potential for the street.
