I looked through the faq and didn't see too many threads of pad swaps, probably because its too easy for most. I would say it's an improvement but not a major upgrade. I did the upgrade since I needed new brakes. I'm happy with the results. Went with upgraded front calipers and rotors. The rear calipers have the same Centric part numbers so didn't upgrade.
