I only hear it when i turn the steering and car is stationery. I do not hear it when car is on the move. Sound seems to come from front side of vehicle (RIGHT).It only made the horrible tappet noise for five minutes in the morning after it sat all night. I felt a little sheepish because to save money a few months earlier I had let one oil change go over 10K miles. When I finally got it changed the oil was pretty bad. I figured the tappet noise was because it got too dirty and gummed things up.a couple weeks ago the passenger side air blend actuator started making the loud ticking noise.
