How to manually recline a power seat
Own a 2006 RT, so it's going on 4.5 years old ~80k. Starting today my power driver's seat started malfunctioning. It will go up/down, but not forward/backward or tilt. The recline works fine. There doesn't appear to be anything blocking the rails and when I trigger the lever there just doesn't appear to be any power going to the seat.5527 posts · Joined 2006. #2 · Oct 25, 2006. Sort of. You'd have to remove the seatback and then disconnect the recliner motor from the drive cable. Not a pleasant job at all. It would be much easier to replace the switch.

Sounds like the main forward back motor is failing. What you might want to do, is remove front 2 T55 bolts, get a small hammer or pipe, tap on motor, then with switch slide seat forward to get back T55 bolts off.
