Super Shox sacrifices some travel with the internal separator piston, have no damping adjustments, and very limited spring options. Tried them, just ok solo and not good 2-up on our rough roads. Terry Cable shocks ride pretty darn good, I have those on 2 bikes and like ... So, all that said Ohlins are great if you have to money to pay for them, and the patience to dial them in. Fox/Racetech are good, and take less dialing in. Progressive/Bitubo or comparable price range parts are good for general use, slightly improved over stock.Is it worth $700 for rear susupension?

So they will want to know your weight, riding …With different valving and spring's the showa's performance can be the same or if not better then the stock Ducati ohlins. The difference is really adjustability of the system and the bling factor. The ohlins have better adjustability then the showa's. For somebody who is racing, thats a nice feature to have.Ohlins is Swedish with some mfg in Thailand. Most is done in Sweden.
