3cm dilated 75 effaced
January 2015. Hello, I'm 2cm dilated and 75 effaced at least I was 2 days ago when I got checked. My doctor said that he didn't expect to see me next week but to schedule an appointment anyway. He also said that if I didn't have my hospital bags packed they needed to be packed now. I was just wondering does this mean my baby will be here this week?36.5 week check up - 3 cm, 50% effaced 37.5 week check up - 4 cm, 60-70% effaced 38.5 week check up - 6 cm, they didn't tell me effacement but probably 70%? Got my membranes swept at the 38.5 check up and contractions started within an hour and a half or so. Checked into labor and delivery 16 hours after my appt at 8 cm & 80%.
