Fighter has str bonus (4x2) + specialization (2) + weapon training (1). Barb has str bonus (6x1.5) + power attack (6). The fighter has the advantage on to hit for a bit less damage or can take power attack for disadvatange to hit and more damage. The fighter can do it all day, the barb can't. Magus fighter gives you a higher chance to crit with spellstrike and that will always be crazy. Some spell strikes with the new spells can net you well over 100-120 damage in a crit at Character lvl 7 so this is probably one of the highest damage crit builds out there.
