Rear axle seal leaking
replacing rear axle seals/bearings. After 5 looong years, finally got my 69 mach I on the road about 2 weeks ago. I am now trying to work out all the "bugs". I think the rear axle, on the driver's side, is leaking gear oil. The drum gets so hot you can hardly touch it, and I've noticed some oil slung on inside of wheel.Dave, not sure what your stands look like, but horizontal support is not really needed.
