They sent the rear drive shaft off for rebalancing, put in a new yolke and a new harmonic balancer, put everything back together and the rebuilt (again) t-case was still leaking. Bought a remanufactured transfer case from Transfer Case Express and had that put in. Been driving it for only a week and it's leaking again.Top up the WS trans oil. 10.Connect the harness connector to the trans and the actuator. 11. Start you car, raise the RPM to 3000 for 2-3 mts. I've noticed a small oil spot on the driveway. The bottom bolts holding the transfer case halves together were leaking. I backed the bolts out a bit, put some silicone on them and got all of them to stop except one. I tried the same thing a couple times on the leaking bolt but no luck.Jun 3, 2011 · To confirm clean the whole area with brake cleaner and put a duct tape along the halves and let it run for a day, remove the duct tape and if you find spots along the seam of the halves then you have a leak. You need to remove the transfer case to reseal the halves.

I very much doubt stop leak will do squat for you. I think there is only 1 paper seal in the transfer case, everything else is rubber from what I can remember. The rear output shaft seal is leaking. The seal probably just dried out form old age. This is something you can change in your driveway, easy peasy. Just drop the driveshaft and pick out the out seal, then pop in the new one. I actually have a brand new seal if you want it.
