It doens't grease the u joint at all.It greases the splines on the tail shaft coming out of the transfer case, the drive shaft slides on to these splines . The u joints don't have grease zerts at all.Once I changed out the stockers with ones from tractor supply the new ones had zerts.Moly is a type of clay that is put into greases to help keep the grease in the joint in high pressure situations, such as pins on a loader bucket. but for bearings it's like injecting clay into some needle bearings. when the grease gets dried out it can be a bad deal for any kind of bearing.
