UNP has more armor mods but most of them are of the sexy/lore-breaking variety, so I'll pass. CBBE's slim option looks more realistic than the UNP one. From what I've seen, people usually choose UNP for a more sexualized female body (super wide hips/thighs, etc). UNP is compatible with vanilla bodies so if you find an armor mod that is for vanilla, UNP will work with it, and vice versa. I'm told CBBE uses a different UV map or something like that, so it'll take a bit more work to get it to look good, but only for armors that show some skin especially around the arms and legs and whatnot.CBBE uses Slim as baseline body. All outfits are tailored to CBBE Slim to create Bodyslide outfit file. Therefore, You need to figure out what UNP is using for its baseline body. And to convert from CBBE to UNP, you need to open up CBBE outfit, delete the defaultt CBBE body, and replace it with that baseline UNP body. ….

It's a PITA, but worth it if you like the armor.Animations work on the skeleton, and it is entirely irrelevant if the mesh is vanilla, CBBE, UNP, HIMBO or whatever. CBBE is a female body mesh, properly weighted to the Skyrim skeleton to provide a fair approximation of real human body movement. That is beside the point though. CBBE is not just a mesh, but also a set of morphs (sliders).
Honestly just stick with unp. I've alternated between unp and cbbe for years and I can confidently say now that unp is better. Armor mods are way better on this side. But on a real note: It's personal preference. We can't really choose for you. Pick the one you want.UNP is pretty nice, and a bit more grounded than CBBE. (Though that varies) Adding the athletic map muscles mod makes ladies a bit more muscular to a good degree, too. If we ever got a standalone CBBE without a skin, I might give that a try. I'm pretty happy with the UNP combo I have now though.
